Golf

Inishowen is very well served for both 9 and 18 hole golf clubs.
North Western Golf Club, 00353 (0) 74 9361715, an 18 hole course established in 1890 at Lisfannon, just a five minute walk from the hotel, is an excellent and testing all year round facility.

Buncrana Golf Club, 00353 (0)749320749, is opened all year round and is popular with both locals and visitors alike.

Pollan Pitch & Putt, 00353 (0) 749376570, is a 9 hole course situated on Pollen Green offering excellent facilities for families and for the casual player.

Ballyliffen Golf Club at the top of Inishowen peninsula is Ireland's most northern course. The 36 hole course is a favourite of former US and British open champion Nick Faldo.

Angling

The local Crana River and the Pollen Dam offer excellent opportunities for anglers. There are also numerous events and festivals throughout the season.

Horse Riding

Situated in an area of great scenic beauty the stables offer an ideal environment and excellent facilities for both experienced and novice riders. Highly qualified expert staff are on hand to give a complete range of training.

Swan Park

This beautiful wooded area situated to the north of the town is an ideal retreat spot for walkers and anglers. There has also been concerted efforts by local gardeners mounted the boxes and planted specific species of flowers and shrubs to sustain species of insects and butterflies that are under threat.
